How to start using UNBLND?

Download the UNBLND app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or open unblnd.com/app on your mobile phone to get started.

Is the app really for making friends?

Yes — for real friends, for everyone. UNBLND is not a dating app. It's a social app that finds interesting, like-minded groups for you based on shared interests.

How does matching work?

Interest groups are created automatically by our algorithm. Fill out as much information about your interests as possible so the groups you're placed into are as relevant as possible.

Why can't I find other people?

You connect with others within your matched groups. Groups are based on shared interests and location. Users that have nothing in common with you can't find you — and you can't find them. This is intentional: safety first.

How can I create an account?

Use your personal email, or sign in via Google or Apple.

What happens with my data?

UNBLND takes data protection seriously. Your data is needed for our services to work but will never be used against you. Read our full privacy policy for details.

How do I make new friends on UNBLND?

Engage in a group chat, unblind someone for a private conversation, or join a group gathering. Talk when you feel comfortable — there's no pressure.

How can I add an event?

Go to the events tab, or within a group chat tap the calendar icon in the top right corner. Choose whether the event is online or offline.

How can I join an event?

Find events via the events tab or the calendar icon inside a group chat. Tap the event and choose 'I will join!', 'Maybe', or 'No thanks'. You can only join events from groups you're a member of, or public events near you.

What to do in case of emergency?

You should always feel comfortable when meeting someone. If anything feels wrong, leave. If things escalate, report it to local authorities and to UNBLND so we can take our own measures.

How can I delete my account?

Email delete.we.sad@unblnd.com — we'll take care of it, or help you take a break from the platform.
